If Kratom was a harmful plant, it wouldn’t be helping millions of Americans to regain their lives.
If Kratom were harmful there wouldn’t be thousands of advocates volunteering their free time, working tirelessly every single day not making a cent, fighting to keep it legal.
If Kratom was this harmful plant that the media paints it to be, there wouldn’t be a nonprofit organization like the American Kratom Association working so hard with very little money to do so. Yes they are growing and they are receiving donations finally, but it wasn’t always like this. Most people like my friends, who are on the board don’t get paid a DIME. If this plant was so dangerous, do you really think people would give up their free time to advocate for it??? THINK ABOUT IT.
A VERY LARGE AMOUNT of the U.S. and all over the world consume Kratom. If Kratom was harmful don’t you think some of these people would be coming up sick? No one is dying from this plant. No one is experiencing harmful side effects compromising their health or wellbeing, as a result.
I see these very manipulative articles, in NewsBreak which is a VERY popular app. It pains me to see the latest article in this news app, wrongly describing Kratom as being NO HELP for quitting opioids. The article actually states that Kratom can lead you TO an opioid addiction.
It then goes onto say that even though Kratom is NOT an opioid, it does bind in the same way.
This is an OUTRIGHT LIE. Kratom DOES NOT BIND the same way that opioids do and is the entire reason as to why Kratom is so incredibly SAFE.
Kratom is a partial agonist, unlike opioids which are full agonists. Kratom only binds partially, the same way that caffeine in coffee and tea do. The same way that cheese, chocolate, and breast milk does.
The writer openly admits to not even ever trying Kratom, but he never will because of all the horror he has heard.
You mean like the horror that he is writing?? This article is plainly part of the disinformation campaign being carried out by the FDA and DEA. This is how they brainwash people into thinking that Kratom is bad, before even TRYING it for themselves.
It is a DISGRACE to the human race!!! I very much would like to know who this writer is because he is literally part of the problem we are facing within the news arena, regarding fake news.
The very thing that he says Kratom will lead you to, is the very thing that Kratom HELPS.
I HAVE OVER 2,000 FRIENDS WHO WILL BACK ME UP AND VOUCH that Kratom is what is helping them to eliminate opioids, not the other way around! I’m living proof! Because of Kratom, I no longer need to take Xanax, Morphine, or Norco. I’m just baffled at how slimy and deceiving the media has gotten. It’s absolutely disgusting.

Pure Leaf Kratom is safe and is Low risk for addiction.
In the words of Dr. Jack Henningfield, Ph. D. ,, one of the world’s leading addiction specialists (Chief of Biology/Dependence and Abuse Potential Assessment) for the National Institute on Drug Abuse, a member of the John Hopkins University School of Medicine faculty, since 1978 and is presently Adjunct Professor of Behavioral Biology at the Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences ~ concludes that it is not an opioid by definition.
Mitragynine is the alkaloid in Kratom. Kratom leaves contain 25 identifiable alkaloids. Mitragynine (MG) and 7-Hydroxymitragynine (7-HMG) are the main psychoactive alkaloids in Kratom. MG and 7-HMG are PARTIAL agonists.
The big difference between Kratom and Morphine/opiates/opioids is this: NATURE GOT IT RIGHT. It has such low traces of 7-HMG and MG, that it cannot hurt you; but just enough to help you. Dependence is so low, to be harmful.
Opioids such as morphine, have negative side-effects on the central nervous system, including impairment/ drowsiness, brain fog, respiratory depression, and severe addiction with deadly withdrawals. Kratom does none of those things. Instead, Kratom’s alkaloids produce effects such as alertness and focus ~ the opposite of what morphine and high risk opioids do.
Lastly, Kratom doesn’t encourage a person to want to drink, along with it. It is the opposite. It makes you want to establish healthy habits, unlike opioids.

Below, is the horrific article that NewsBreak put out. I almost didn’t put it in but I think it’s good maybe to show how they are lying so intensely about Kratom. https://www.newsbreak.com/news/2118477307984/kratom-may-not-save-you-from-opioid-addiction-and-may-even-lead-you-to-it?fbclid=IwAR11gyes1eJxJBi9UMduGv1nhZE397AiFk0yFHKSvXlUitGAnydIAVaYFwE

What is sad, kami, is that I never even saw this article on news break, which sends me an email daily with useless articles I really couldn’t care less to read, so I could have easily overlooked it. But of course news break is part of the problem, it’s a popular app, meant for people who are too on the go to bother thinking about the information being pumped into their brains, so they depend on it to do that for them. They trade their ability to analyze and discuss the news so that they can just glance at their screen. I say this not to insult people everywhere, but to point out that people trade a lot of things for convenience, and one of those is an assumption that the leaders of this country have their best interests at heart, and that the reason kratom isn’t prescribed or talked about is because it is dangerous, and has people fooled. I’ll add my voice to the thousands who will back you up, as always. Having been a former opioid addict myself, I can say without hesitation that kratom does not lead to an opioid addiction, simply because kratom is not one no matter how you define an opioid. It can lead to some minor withdrawals and I am sick to death of pointing this out so I’ll stop there. If people want to continue to believe that kratom is dangerous, they will, regardless of how hard we try to point out they’re wrong, and I just don’t have the time to try to think for people. Don’t mind me, I’m venting a bit. I am sick and tired of articles like this, sick and tired of the people who believe them, and most definitely sick and tired of the anonymous writers who write them, and then stubbornly stand behind them claiming that their right to publish the news superceeds all others
