Do Not Dismiss The Million Uses That Kratom Has, All The GOOD It Does, For MILLIONS of Americans Because YOU Were The MINORITY Who Could Not Take It ~

Kratom, Mitragyna Speciosa attaches <<<partially>>> to the mu-receptors in the brain. Thankfully, the majority of society is functioning and not dysfunctional, going to work everyday and completing activities of daily living, in a healthy natural way. But, if you are suffering silently in pain and fatigue everyday, like I did for so many years, while working, there is a plant called Kratom that can help!

If you are middle aged, you probably have some aches and pains by now. But, if you have been in an accident or tragedy/illness has befallen you, Kratom can be extremely helpful in keeping your job or having continued success in your life. Of course, it’s crucial that you always get advice and treatment from your doctor, but Kratom may be the answer and help that you so desperately need.

For everyday folks who may of acquired chronic pain and fatigue, Kratom is a godsend. The majority of Kratom users don’t have a negative experience like withdrawals and PAWS (post-acute withdrawal syndrome) because they are not taking it to kick a hardcore drug like Heroin, OxyContin, or Fentanyl. It all depends on what you’re taking Kratom for as to what kind of experience you will have with it.

But, Kratom is psychoactive like coffee, tea, cheese, and chocolate. It doesn’t mean it’s bad or mind altering to the point of impairment. But, if you are obsessive and compulsive or struggle with an addictive mentality then ask yourself if you are the right kind of person to be taking stimulants and anything with alkaloids in it.

Only YOU REALLY KNOW the truth about WHO YOU ARE, your weaknesses and strengths. We have all lied to ourselves, at one point or another. Sometimes it’s a way of surviving, but when it comes to food, herbs, and medications, it’s important to be honest with yourself.. so you can have the healthiest outcome possible. Because isn’t that why we eat, drink, and take medication to begin with? It’s to fuel our bodies and our minds, and keep us going in this crazy world of ours.

For example, coffee helps us tremendously with getting up in the morning and going to work and being productive. No one seems to realize how DEPENDENT WE REALLY ARE on caffeine. When it comes to caffeinated beverages, I would say that a good majority of human beings are ADDICTED and DEPENDENT. I started getting into the habit of drinking energy drinks every single afternoon, as a pre-workout kind of ritual. I started looking at myself and I didn’t like how I was doing this so often. Energy drinks are dehydrating and very bad for the liver, so I stopped. But, for months I would get an extra large energy fountain drink from AM/PM, every single day.

Regarding coffee and tea, here is some information ~ Caffeine attaches to adenosine receptors. Kratom attaches to mu-receptors in the brain. They are both psychoactive. They both can produce a tolerance. The more you take the more effects you will experience.

The stimulant effect of coffee comes largely from the way it acts on the adenosine receptors in the neural membrane. Adenosine is a central nervous system neuromodulator that has specific receptors. When adenosine binds to its receptors, neural activity slows down, and you feel sleepy. Adenosine thus facilitates sleep and dilates the blood vessels, probably to ensure good oxygenation during sleep.

Caffeine acts as an adenosine-receptor antagonist. This means that it binds to these receptors, but without reducing neural activity. Fewer receptors are thus available to the natural “braking” action of adenosine, and neural activity therefore speeds up.

The activation of numerous neural circuits by caffeine also causes the pituitary gland to secrete hormones that in turn cause the adrenal glands to produce more adrenalin. Adrenalin is the “fight or flight” hormone, so it increases your attention level and gives your entire system an extra burst of energy. This is exactly the effect that many coffee drinkers are looking for.

In general, you get some stimulating effect from every cup of coffee you drink, and any tolerance you build up is minimal. On the other hand, caffeine can create a physical dependency. The symptoms of withdrawal from caffeine begin within one or two days after you stop consuming it. They consist mainly of headaches, nausea and sleepiness and affect about one out of every two individuals.

Lastly, like most drugs, caffeine increases the production of dopamine in the brain’s pleasure circuits, thus helping to maintain the dependency on this drug, which is consumed daily by 90% of all adults in the U.S.

The point of this article is to open people’s eyes. Understand that just because something is labeled ‘psychoactive’ it does not mean it’s harmful to the point of bodily injury. It means that one should do their research and find out how it may affect you. Not everyone can drink coffee or caffeinated beverages. My mom has a very sensitive chemistry and any kind of caffeine affects her heart rate. Therefore, she abstains from it. It doesn’t mean we need to hide caffeine from her now and keep it out of her reach. Same thing goes for Kratom. Just because the minority of the world’s population are dysfunctional, mentally ill perhaps, or a danger to themselves and their surroundings, it doesn’t mean we withhold what’s good for the majority because it isn’t good for the minority. It means we continue to deal with those issues separately, like we have been doing for thousands of years. Kratom is a tea leaf from the coffee tree Rubiaceae. The way some people talk about it, you’d think it was an actual OPIOID. It’s NOT THOUGH.

Someone told me he thought I was being dishonest by saying it isn’t an opioid. No, what is actually dishonest is HIM spreading his disinformation in the very same way that the FDA is. BECAUSE it attaches to ANY kind of a receptor is the opening they have used to try and trick ignorant folks into believing it must be an opioid if it attaches like opioids do. Well, if we used THAT analogy in everyday life, we’d all be severely ill and addicted to 90 percent of the food and herbs we put into our mouths.

Kratom binds to our receptors, but not in the same way that opioids do. It binds only partially. Nor, does it give you a drug high in any way, shape, or form.

So, NO ..Kratom is not the same as an opioid. It is not an opioid. It is not derived from any opioid plant. It’s a tea leaf and is an actual FOOD that we consume. You drink Kratom and may also eat Kratom, depending on it’s form or preparation. Kratom mashed potatoes, chocolate and smoothies are delicious!!!

What I find to be most infuriating is that most people who condemn it are the ones who haven’t even tried it and just go around parroting what the media or FDA says.

Anyone else who condemns it has openly admitted to me saying that they abused it and kept taking large amounts because they were hoping to get high from it. They kept trying to achieve something that was unachievable. All the while, building a tolerance to the plant and now experiencing negative side effects because they took such large copious amounts of something. Since when did we throw all reasoning out the window???

I actually had someone tell me that he gets mad because he doesn’t think it’s fair that the majority of Kratom users have success with it and that he would like to see a more balanced set of experiences, good versus bad. Do you know how incredibly wrong that is, on so many levels?? This guy is in the recovery community and has severe addiction issues and he is against Kratom. He is so incredibly selfish to be mad over this. Because he’s dismissing all the good that Kratom is doing for the millions of people that DO have success with it, all because HE CANNOT take it. So, he’s mad at his own weaknesses and shortcomings, so therefore; he wants any negative resulting from Kratom to be highlighted, so he can feel better about himself.

It’s not balanced because what we are saying is the TRUTH. That Kratom is safe, and for the MAJORITY of people, it IS and does not present a problem. He didn’t like it because he was the minority. This is why we have to fight so hard. Because it’s people like him who do not want to highlight the TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF GOOD that comes from Kratom. They would rather dismiss it, because they cannot take it. I talked with him and we came to a peaceful understanding. I told him all the good that it does for millions of Americans, including myself.

Are YOU one of these people? Are you dismissing all the good that Kratom is doing for MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of people?? IF so, that is just PLAIN WRONG. If you go around bashing this plant and haven’t even tried it or you are the minority who cannot take it, you better thank your lucky stars that tragedy has not befallen you and you have options or a variety of pain relief at your disposal. Americans are being abandoned by their doctors because of our corrupt government and people have zero options with nothing to take. Many people cannot get stoned all day long and function and run a household, etc. I’m one of those people. I cannot get stoned all day long and be functioning. It would make me dysfunctional. It doesn’t agree with my chemistry. It would be actually very dangerous for me if I used marijuana for my pain relief, because I would be too impaired to drive etc. However, I’m not going to bash it for the ones who have success with it.

I am a chronic pain survivor and I know what it means to suffer day after day, with no relief in site. No one deserves to go through that, and in this day and age with so many discoveries and medications and herbs that are a success, we shouldn’t have to.

If you don’t know what it’s like to suffer in pain and judge others for being dependent or even addicted to a pain killer, opioid or not, and you go around bashing this plant. IF you are trying to make this plant illegal you better hope that karma does not come for you. Suffering in pain and fatigue can literally cause mental and physical anguish and it can even make a person go insane. When you’re suffering like so many do, taking something that may have a negative side-effect or any addiction potential is the least of your worries because the benefit far outweighs the risk.

My plea to you is this. Stop thinking of only yourself. Stop harming the already harmed human beings. Just because you are suffering or don’t get to take Kratom because you abused it, or maybe your chemistry is not a good fit, it doesn’t make it right to ruin it for others.

ANYTHING on this planet, that we CONSUME ..can be overdone. We are not children who need our plants taken away from us and put under lock and key. 🔑

Food is literally killing people in this country. Morbid obesity kills people everyday. Gluttony and addiction to food is literally HARMFUL, because it causes fatal health problems. We need food to survive, therefore; the FDA doesn’t restrict it I would imagine. However, the FDA has never made our food and safety a priority, yet it is literally what they stand for. But, Americans also need sanity and emotional and mental wellbeing, as a result from pain relief. We NEED plants like Kratom, Mitragyna Speciosa to SURVIVE in LIFE.

I discovered Kratom, Mitragyna Speciosa three years ago. It allowed me to eliminate Morphine, Norco, and Xanax from my life!!! I no longer drink either!!!

  1. Kam is 100 percent correct. Read her words, and read them very carefully. I am getting sick to death of people trying kratom, not liking it or having negative effects from it, and then attempting to get it banned because they couldn’t take it. Ok, lets analyze this a bit. I don’t perticularly like tylenol or ibuprofen, I personally think they shouldn’t be recommended for virtually any pain imaginable, and when I take them, they do absolutely nothing to me. Yet they are still available for anyone who wants or needs them. If I don’t like something, I simply do not take it. This is not rocket science. You don’t like kratom, ignore it. Don’t take it. Getting bogged down in the symantics of whether kratom is an opioid or not doesn’t help. Would you describe caffeine as equivalent to methamphetamine then? Because your logic is just that wrong. Why must we put up with people like this who actively seek us out, and attempt to take a plant we take for various reasons away from us? Would you like it if I stole your beer, your coffee, your aspirin? I thought not

  2. Get ready for tolerance, babe. Get ready for the low low downfall, the wearing off of effects, the addiction, and the shitty feelings you get when you withdrawal. Good luck.

    1. You know.. what it sounds like to me you didn’t do EVERYTHING in YOUR power to AVOID all of that BABE. What gets really really OLD is how so many of you or others (who I’m willing to bet you really didn’t have a legitimate problem or ailment for taking it in the first place) but probably seeking escape trying to achieve something you can’t with this plant don’t realize that if you take breaks regularly, keep your dose low and switch strains you can avoid building a tolerance. And if you cannot take breaks due to chronic pain with nothing else to take you can keep your dose low and again switch vendors & strains. I’ve been taking the same low dose for 4 years and it still works exactly the same. I KNOW the cons of this plant as well and I am very open about them. STILL Kratom is wayyy better and wayyyy safer than the rest. I HAVE to take something for chronic PAIN. I don’t think you quite understand that nor how extremely important this plant is to the chronic pain community. Also, you don’t have to suffer from wds if you don’t take super high doses and taper a lot of ppl who say this are usually the ones with severe addiction mentality who are taking very heavy doses for long periods of time and exhibit out-of-control behavior which is on you not a plant. Same with alcohol, food, shopping, the list goes on. Ppl have addiction problems to many things on this planet. The problem is the person ..

    2. I would like to say that I am very sorry for the negative experience you’ve had with Kratom. May I ask why you started taking Kratom in the first place and how much you were taking in the beginning of your journey and at the end? Did you change vendors and strains frequently? Did you keep your dose low? Did you take breaks? I’m not writing to hide or dismiss any negative that Kratom may have however the entire truth needs to be told as well not only a quarter so we do not create or present false narrative forms. In my four years of studying, researching, and writing about Kratom I’ve never heard of a person who has horrific wds or bad experiences when they are doing all those things I’ve mentioned above. If the person was unaware of the fact that you CAN build a tolerance to it if you don’t do x, y, and z then I feel for them however if you’re not trying to learn about something you’re putting inside your body and on top of that abusing it that’s not the plants fault either. We are all adults here and it’s never ok to abuse anything. I know what I’m getting myself into and that is pain relief and hopefully I can avoid building a tolerance quickly or having a negative experience. That’s why I work hard at hopefully trying to avoid all of that. Still, I know there is risk with anything you do in life and I carefully weigh out pros versus cons. Kratom has allowed me to eliminate Morphine, Norco, and Xanax. It’s given me my self back (meaning I’m not foggy anymore from nerve medications) and allowed me to take my son and mother to Disneyland. I’ve been able to give my son a better life bc of this plant so even if I do build a slight tolerance to it over the course of say a decade it’s completely worth it (to me). Most medications have that effect but if you can have quality of life for 10-20 years even more that’s a very small trade off and on top of it it doesn’t cause respiratory depression and overdose. If someone is still against a pain patient taking it after all I’ve just stated THEY are the ones who are a danger to themselves and others. Not the other way around…. May peace be with you always
